No matter what I did, I just

couldn’t

seem to get ahead.

Not soon after that, people started to leave, one by one, and our

party that we spent weeks planning, was over before it even
began.

After the last person left the house, my wife looked at me and

said:

“We need to talk”.

You know that’s never a good thing when you hear those words.

“I know how bad you must feel right now, but we can’t keep living

like this.”
